So great to see you all Friday night for the children's performance! They worked so hard and did such a great job! It was also fun to see so many our the K2 dad's present for Dad's and Donuts!
I know the children love sharing special time with you at these events! We have another exciting and busy week in store. Thursday is our Kindergarten Retreat and our Mother's Day Tea on Friday. There is so much excitement at the end of the year and so much to celebrate. Also, if your child has a summer birthday and would like a chance to celebrate in class complete with birthday song, blessing, hat, and lots of wishes from their classmates...send me an email and let me know what day you'd like and whether or not you'd like to send a birthday treat! And now a peek at our week: Reading: We will reviewing all the words and sounds we have worked on. There will be no sight word test this week as we have learned all our words and took our last assessment. There will be one final spelling test on Friday. Math: This week we will spend one final week reviewing coins. The children have been working on remembering their values and names of each coin. We will take our assessment at the end of the week. Religion: This week we'll learn the Angel of God prayer. We also will have a fun craft to go along with the prayer as we discuss what it means!! We hope to see many of our K2 mom's this week and thank you in advance to those of you helping out with the retreat! Have a great week! Mrs. Zander
