The kiddos are really showing their knowledge of the sight words, letters and sounds. Keep practicing at home! Remember so far we've mastered letters a, s, t, and m. Our high frequency words include, I, like the, see, we, & and. Religion: The student have been developing a love for our Blessed Mother Mary as we pray the rosary as a class each day. This week we learn about why Mary is so important in our faith. As we approach All Saints day, the students will learn that Mary is the Queen of all the saints. This will be the introduction to our saint study next week. A reminder to start learning about your child's saint to help prepare them for their report and presentation. There are many books, kid friendly websites, and even some neat short videos about the saints. Help your child get excited and familiar with their saint!! Math: This week we start a new chapter about numbers 0-20. The students will be introduced to the concept of ten frames and how they can more easily count to 20 (and beyond). There will be some fun chances to practice class sized 10 frames too! Lastly, box tops are due by Friday if you have any extra s to send in!! The class with the most wins a special celebration! This is sure to be a fun week! See you tomorrow! Mrs. Zander
