I hope that you all had a wonderful thanksgiving filled with family fun and hopefully some much needed relaxation!!
Literacy: This week our topic is weather. We will discuss various types of weather after reading some fun books and poems. There will be some fun science experiments related to weather too! We will focus on the letter Nn and sound /n/ as well as our two new words: with, my. We are up to 12 words already. Remember you can find a comprehensive list in sequential in order, under the resource tab. Math: We will continue to practice counting by 2's, 5's, 10's into the 100's. We will have a unit test at the end of the week. Religion: As we enter into the Advent season, will will learn about the advent wreath and how we prepare our hearts for the birth of Jesus! We will make some fun crafts to prepare our houses too:) A few important dates: The school Christmas concert is two weeks away. The children have been practicing non-stop with Ms. Looker in music class. The concert will be Frida, December 9th at 6pm. Children should be dressed in Christmas best! More details to come. Also, Friday December 16 will be our class party @9-1030, followed by our kindergarten nativity walk! Below is the link to the party Signup Genius.
