Our final week of kindergarten...
Literacy: This week we will be wrapping up our literacy unit with a final assessment. The rest of the week we'll practice all that we have learned this year in some fun summer themed centers. The students have been taking a walk down memory lane and are making an end of the year memory book to remember all their favorites throughout the year!
Math: We will finish up learning about telling time to the hour.
Religion: The class will look back at all the blessings God has bestowed on our class this year.
Tuesday at 2:00 in the classroom is our end of the year celebration, complete with ice cream Sundaes. I hope that you all can make it!
Friday is our last day! We will have mass at 8:30 with a short awards ceremony and dismissal following.
One final thought...
I want you to know how blessed I feel to have gotten to know you and your child this year. I have enjoyed watching them grow and thank you for letting me part of their kindergarten education. I know that your child will continue to flourish academically, socially and emotionally each new year and I can't wait to see them in the courtyard and give hugs and high-fives and comment on how tall they are getting. Please know that I will continue to keep to keep you and your child in my prayers.
Thank you for sharing them with me and for so many wonderful memories this year.
Love and Prayers,
