Our final week of kindergarten...
Literacy: This week we will be wrapping up our literacy unit with an assessment Monday. The rest of the week we'll practice all that we have learned this year in some fun summer centers. The students have been taking a walk down memory lane and are making an end of the year memory book to remember all the learning that happened this year, the friendships made and some of our classes favorites! Math: We will finish up the final math unit this week, too! Religion: The class will look back at all the blessings God has bestowed on our class this year. The students will also learn about the Guardian Angel that he gives each of us. And as we set out on another adventure, we know that He will guide and protect us! Thursday at 1:30 in the classroom is our end of the year celebration. I hope that you all can make it! Being that all the kindergartner classes are having the celebration at the same time we will wrap up the party about 2-2:15 to allow you to get to your cars before the dismissal traffic begins. Friday is our last day! We will have mass at 8:30 and dismissal following. One final thought... I want you to know how blessed I feel to have gotten to know you and your child this year. I have enjoyed watching them grow and thank you for letting me part of their kindergarten education. I know that your child will continue to flourish academically, socially and emotionally each new year and I can't wait to see them in the courtyard and give hugs and high-fives and comment on how tall they are getting. Please know that I will continue to keep to keep you and your child in my prayers. Thank you for sharing them with me and for so many wonderful memories this year. Love and Prayers, Mrs. Zander
