A reminder that Wednesdays are library days for our class. If your child hasn't returned their library book to school, please help them remember to bring it so they can check out a new one this week!
Here's a glimpse at our week:
Reading: The theme for our week will be pets. We will read I Have a Pet! and Please, Puppy, Please. Our new high frequency word is "the" and we will wrap up our review of the alphabet, practicing U-Z. In grammar we continue to build our understanding of nouns. We will focus on nouns for things and animals. Make sure to be reviewing our high frequency words at home! We are up to three words already I, like, & the.
Math: We will finish up our chapter on ordering by size, weight, and length. Then will spend the week reviewing all that we've learned so far with some fun math centers.
Religion: This week we continue our lesson on the Ten Commandments and have a fun project in store at the end of the week.
Science: With fall around the corner its time for some apple fun. last week we talked about scientists and what they study. This week we'll be the scientists as we explore some apple themes STEM fun! Continue to check out the resource tab for updates on fun school-wide events.
Have a great week!! I know the kindergarten class will:)
