Catholic Schools Week!!

There is a lot of fun this week! 
Reading: This week or focus is  bodies of water. We will hear two stories: One Dog Canoe and Atlantic. We will be introduced to six new sight words: that, your, who, will, be, into. We will also be learning the /r/ sound. Please continue to practice the sight word list that will be sent home on Monday to prep for the quiz on Thursday!
Math: We continue to practice our new skill of counting back. We also will quickly follow up on our practice with patterning.  There will be an assessment at the end of the week.
Religion: This week's lesson focuses  on Jesus being the perfect example of how we should live our lives. The student's will hear stories about saints who followed Jesus' example. We will also be learning the Corporal Works of Mercy and will create a booklet to help us remember how we can follow Jesus' example.
