We have lots of fun learning this week.
Literacy: Our theme is jobs, we will be focusing on the sound /m/, and our new high frequency word is and. In grammar we will be learning about present tense verbs. Our stories this week are Pizza at Sally's and Everybody Works.
Religion: We will wrap up our lesson on the 10 Commandments. The children will illustrate the 10 commandments in pairs and present their commandment to the class. We will have our religion quiz Wednesday.
Math: This week the students will learn about composing and decomposing numbers 1-10. We will have some fun with partners and various counters to visualize the numbers.
Social Studies: We tie in our theme of jobs from our literacy lesson and discuss the difference between needs and wants. We will discuss different jobs and services.
See you this week!
